Beacon Pediatric Therapy Services offers Food Exploration Groups. These groups are led by occupational therapists trained in supporting picky eaters and problem feeders. The groups will encourage exploration of the sensory properties of many different foods in a safe and supportive environment with peers their age. The children will touch, smell and play with each item while making a fun craft with the foods.
Activities chosen and planned by the therapists are developmentally appropriate based on the age of each group.
We are currently offering a 6 week session from April 9th to May 18th. Classes are 45 minutes.
Classes Offered:
Tuesdays 1pm Preschooler Explorers Group Ages 2-4 years old
Tuesday 3pm Food Scientists Ages 5-8 years old
Cost is $250 for the 6 week session
Classes are limited to no more than 4 children. Once the class is filled, no further registrations will be accepted.
No drop in sessions are being offered at this time. Children benefit from routines and repetition to build skills and comfort with exploring new foods.

Once this form is received by our office you will receive a link to your email address for our client portal within 24-48 hours. All consent forms and questionnaires in the portal must be completed including payment information in order to hold your spot in the class. If the form is not filled out we will assume you will not be attending and your child’s spot will be forfeited to another child.
